Secondary Education

The "Secondary education" activity, with a budget of $114.3 million, aims to improve the quality and relevance of secondary education programmes (secondary schools and lycées) and equity of access to this education. Designed in perfect alignment with the new strategic vision 2015-2030 of reforming the education and training system in Morocco, the "Secondary education" activity is structured around three main components :(i) the establishment of an integrated model for the improvement of secondary schools "MIAES"; (ii) the strengthening of the system for the assessment of student learning and the information system "MASSAR"; and (iii) the development of a new approach for the maintenance and upkeep of school infrastructure and equipment.
